Background and Strategy
Social Venture Network is a nonprofit networking association that connects, supports and inspires business leaders and social entrepreneurs in expanding practices that build a just and sustainable economy. For the organization's Fall 2013 Conference, SVN created the theme "The AdVenture Continues", a concept which playfully merges the notion of social venture and entrepreneurship with the idea of superheroism.

Conference Theme Design
In keeping with the underlying idea that business leaders can have a superhero-like positive impact in the world, we created a comic-book styled theme which positions the SVN business leader as positive change-maker. The design's custom illustrations combine elements from Social Venture Network's current visual identity and adds a comic-styled twist. The vibrant background rays are an adaptation of the SVN's kaledescope-like logo, and an adaptation of this logo is the crest on the superhero's orange cape.
